Open Communications, a straight talking PR and marketing communications agency based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, is looking for an experienced Account Manager who is looking to take the next step in their career, working on some of the UK’s largest brands and achieving exceptional results.
In the last 7 years Open Communications has grown with successive new business wins and is now responsible for a portfolio of clients that cover everything from household names to ambitious multi-million pound enterprises and all in between.
Managing client activity including trade, consumer and corporate PR, social media engagement, copy writing and event support, the candidate will need to be hands-on and able to prove that they can meet with demanding deadlines, while offering creative input that will impress clients, journalists and bloggers alike.
With such a variety of clients, the successful applicant will want a challenge that will allow them to move forward with their career, while also being a part of a supportive team that continues to grow and make its mark within the West Yorkshire region and beyond.
The candidate must have the following:
₋ Excellent written skills
₋ Examples of previous coverage secured both in print and online
₋ A solid understanding of the media; consumer, trade and regional press
₋ Previous experience of working with bloggers
₋ Previous experience of managing social media tools including Twitter and Facebook
₋ Account handling experience with examples of best practice
₋ The ability to be able to work as a team
