A fantastic Visual Design, CGI and Communications agency, with a history of exceptional service to an extensive blue-chip client list in the Energy sector, is looking for an Account Manager / Marketing Manager. The key objective for this role being to help the agency drive growth in new sectors using innovative marketing techniques, whilst also managing top-level relationships with several key blue-chip clients.
It is an exciting, multifaceted role that could be of interest to a Marketing Manager from a technical industry looking to cut their teeth in the agency world, whilst still taking direct ownership for the agencys own marketing efforts and strategy. Or it could be of interest to an Account Manager that wants more autonomy, input and ownership of a marketing strategy, whilst retaining the diversity of working with several different top-notch clients as well.
This agency are on the forefront of various tech innovations in their industry, including building their own game engine to combine CGI with Oculus Rift, allowing for the creation of complex virtual 3-D environments for their clients.
The agencys own marketing efforts currently consist of e-shots linking to showreels, exhibitions and networking for referrals with old client contacts. The agency also has a newly designed website incoming, with engaging video content a dominant feature. The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with the Business Director on Sales and Marketing strategy, and also be able to bring new ideas to the table that can potentially drive growth and help the agency break into new markets. For instance, a good understanding of Digital Marketing techniques such as Adwords, Paid Search, Paid Social, GDN and so on would be interesting. As would a strong Content Marketing focus (Content is King .etc.), eCRM-marketing, Social Media Marketing, Video, Events / Exhibitions and so on.
The agency are looking for an individual with a technical background to allow for maximal understanding of the agencys services and their clients requirements, which can often be complex. The candidate must be able to give a client or new prospect the confidence, as a representative of the agency, that they can get the job done; meaning they must be credible, intelligent and have the level of commercial nous that will allow them to assess a clients requirements effectively. They must have a professional, driven attitude and be an adept presenter.
The candidate must also have commercial awareness to assess new markets, and possibilities within new markets such as the manufacturing, infrastructure, architectural sectors and so on, that the agencys product and services can be successfully marketed into.
