Role Purpose

To manage a portfolio of existing customers to maximize their performance, deliver customer delight and increase business opportunities using Prodo Digital’s range of services. With the ability to work unsupervised, the Account Manager will need a good understanding of a client’s needs and translate these into online marketing strategies that deliver in a manner that gives our clients a good return on investment.

Role Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of accounts, working with the relevant Prodo delivery teams to maintain and grow client happiness

Maintain and build client relationships through regular contact and attendance at client meetings

Work with Account Directors to maximize additional services to clients, through up-selling additional offerings

Manage client budgets and ROI forecasts including provision of full rationales behind all recommendations

Work with clients to direct them on the best practices to target their business goals

Research a clients’ area of business with the ability to quickly assess competitors and recommend winning strategies and budgets

Constantly keep up to date with marketing trends and work this information into ongoing successful marketing strategies

To support the project management and sales teams in pitches and making recommendations for up-selling and cross selling to existing clients

To self-manage their time so the client gets the best service for the time allocated

Checking, sending and analysing monthly reports with the client and Account Director

Familiarity with tracking technologies, link building research tools and social media tools

Ensuring that account work is carried out in all services that the client is contracted for

Creating contracts & contract renewals

Role Responsibilities

Attending handover meetings from both Sales & Project Management

Scheduling regular meetings/reporting sessions with clients

Producing contact reports/agenda setting for meetings

Delivering welcome packs for retained services

Monitoring timesheets for retained activity and reporting on anomalies

Intranet management

Invoicing and liaising with accounts to ensure ongoing payments are made
Delivery of the “Customer Delight Programme”

Assist with answering incoming telephone calls into the business

Personal Requirements

Previous, proven account management experience

A good understanding of SEO/PPC and social media marketing

A good technical understanding of website build methods

Strong interpersonal skills to work and deal with individuals of various levels and backgrounds

Good knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software

Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create reports

Ability to multitask; running a number of campaigns simultaneously and deliver to deadlines

Excellent verbal and written English

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Confident communication and presentation skills

Ability to clearly express oneself orally and in writing using appropriate technical factors as grammar, and vocabulary, which may be used when working with colleagues as well as potential and existing customers

Ability to handle the pressure of a fast paced environment which may include dealing with difficult customers

Ability to maintain a thorough understanding of procedures and policies

Ability to make sound and logical decisions and choose appropriate courses of action based on parameters of the situation

Proven ability to acquire new business through interaction with existing clients

Ability to travel to maintain contact with clients, attend administrative meetings and training (driving licence a big plus)

Excellent organisational skills

Experience of using WordPress, Magento and Umbraco CMS

Benefits Package: BUPA, 23 days holiday per annum, plus birthday off
Hours of employment: 37.5 Hours per week. 8.30am to 5pm (1 hour for lunch)
