Account Manager, LYNX Medical
HAVAS LYNX is a communications agency with offices in Manchester, London and New York. In the UK, we have a team of 200 people who work to produce global campaigns that truly enhance people’s lives. The majority of our work focuses on healthcare matters and to deliver these messages, we create and deliver a wide range of solutions, whether we’re communicating with a Doctor to educate them about the latest treatment, or whether we’re creating tools for patients which provide them with a better quality of life. We are now delighted to be launching LYNX Medical, a specialist Medical Education division offering a broad portfolio of Medical Education activities to our existing clients, drawing on our expertise in digital and promotional marketing for the sector.
As part of this new offering, we now have an opportunity for an Account Manager with experience from the Medical Education sector to join our Manchester based team.
This role will combine strategy development and delivery. We’re looking for someone with clear experience of developing Medical Education campaigns for the pharmaceutical sector, who has solid experience at working through agency production processes and managing delivery of work through Medical Writing, Creative, and Artwork teams.
On a day to day basis, you’ll work as part of a team to take and interpret complex briefs from your clients and work to implement these campaigns and gain measurable results for clients using which ever medium is most appropriate to the objectives of the campaign. Due to the nature of the work that we do, much of this will be digital communications – including Apps, eDetails and websites. This is a responsible role, and you’ll work with both more junior, and senior team members, constantly developing and adding to your experience and skill set.
As well as a proven track record in a similar role, your softer skills are also important. You should be able to demonstrate that you have excellent time management and organisation skills, and that you’re great with people, like working as a part of a team, and able to think creatively. We’d also hope that you’re enthusiastic about your career, and ready for a busy and responsible role. There will be opportunities within this role for some travel around Europe, and you need to be comfortable working in a fast moving, dynamic agency environment.
