Due to our continued success, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join the team in Manchester.
This is an opportunity to join one of our most successful teams. We’re looking for a solid Account Manager who has pharma experience, exceptional project management skills and the ability to foster strong client relationships. In this role, you will work for a range of clients on both the localisation of global campaigns that have originated in another part of our agency, as well as the development of distinct projects – you’ll take ownership from the initial brief stage, right through to delivery.
This role is for someone who is delivery focused; you’ll enjoy providing exceptional customer service and thrive on the completion and deliverance of a great end result. Whilst you’ll be mindful of working to achieve strategic objectives, you won’t necessarily be looking to develop them – what’s key however, is for you to draw on your experience of pharma marketing. While we do of course have a knowledgeable editorial team who will support you in meetings and the development of content and beyond, it’s important that the successful candidate feels comfortable in conversations that have a scientific leaning. We’d like to see that you can understand the implications that relate to working in a range of disease areas, as well as the ABPI Code of Practice.
Moreover, this role will see you work with our clients in the various regions to understand and interpret their localisation-based needs, then implementing a suitable solution. Therefore, your ability to establish and proactively maintain successful client relationships is crucial, as are your project management skills. You should employ an organised, methodical approach and be adept at managing numerous projects at any time, whilst being responsive and flexible to address client requests suitably.
You should also be able to bring innovative, new ideas to the table in order to drive the effective origination and launch of marketing collateral. Creativity is at the heart of what we do, so you should have some experience of working with internal design teams – at LYNX, you will be offered the opportunity to further develop your abilities in this area, in order to appraise creative solutions in line with the client’s brief and target audience.
As well as a proven track record in a similar role, your softer skills are also important. You should be a self-starter who is skilled and confident in working with others – this role will see you liaise with people at all levels of seniority; on both an internal and external basis.
