My client is a one of Manchester’s most prestigious PR agencies… They are currently looking to appoint an Associate PR Consumer Account Director to work on their flag-ship retail client for a 9 month contract period, with the possibility of it being made a permanent position.

The specific responsibilities of a PR Director will include:

• New Business Development – Organic growth, Lead generation, Proposal writing, Pitch involvement, Market research
• Internal Company Management
• Account Team & Line Management and Staff Development
• Client Portfolio Management
• Client Relations
• Responsibility for Quality Control amongst team

Candidate Requirements

• PR Agency background – candidates must be at an experienced Account Director level or above
Proven retail PR experience
• Proven record of achieving high client satisfaction
• Success building and managing senior client relationships
• Strong team leadership, management experience and development skills
• Demonstrated expertise using influence, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong selling and negotiating skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven financial management/analytical skills
• Strong strategic consulting skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Commitment and dedication to agency’s success
