Lime Pictures and True North have received commissions from Channel Four as part of the broadcaster’s autumn/winter line-up.

Liverpool-based Lime are behind Celebs Go Dating (15×60), a new E4 show following the dates of some “lonely” stars as they seek a non-celebrity love match.

Charlotte Crosby, Joey Essex, Stephanie Pratt, Tyger Drew-Honey, YouTube’s Jack Jones and Tattoo Fixers’ Paisley are among those taking part.

Lime has already enjoyed success in the reality genre with the likes of The Only Way is Essex and Geordie Shore, as well as soap Hollyoaks and Evermoor, its live-action commission from Disney.

The Naked Truth (5×45), from Leeds-based True North, will see Dan Ribacoff put couples, best friends and families in the hot seat for “conversations they thought they would never have”.

Lie detector tests will allow people to hear answers to the issues that have bothered them for a long time.

Earlier this year, Channel 4 commissioned a live documentary from True North as part of its Cutting Edge strand that will broadcast live the moment that profoundly deaf people hear for the first time.
