Search Laboratory has named Alun Davies as global marketing director.
Davies joins the Leeds agency from Service Reality, where he worked with leadership teams in B2B and professional services to implement market-leading business development strategies.
He has been working with Search Laboratory as a consultant, conducting client interviews to assess the agency’s client service.
Davies said: “From speaking to their clients and working with the team it was clear they have something special and different to offer the market.
“Clients love the data-driven approach and I can’t wait to start helping to encapsulate that approach into a global marketing strategy.”
He will work closely with CEO, Ian Harris, to grow the client base, focusing on strategy, sales and marketing.
Harris said: “I’m delighted to welcome Alun into the fold so that he can share his extensive sales and marketing expertise with the team here at Search Laboratory. We can’t wait to build upon our successes and work with Alun to maximise every opportunity to grow the business.”
Established in 2005, Search Laboratory has offices in Leeds, London and New York and a total headcount of 130. It works with clients including Viking (Office Depot), Karen Millen and VisitBritain Shop.
