Havas Media Manchester has beaten off international competition to win the media planning and buying contract for global retailer Staples.
The agency will have an estimated £3million of spend and has been charged with delivering national, local and in-store campaigns in the UK.
The agency won the account following a pitch through Havas Media International Paris, against the account’s incumbent Carat and ZODG London.
Mark Varley, Managing Partner at Havas Media Manchester, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen to lead the media capabilities for Staples in the UK and are looking forward to partnering with them through their next phase of business expansion.”
Menno Kroese, Print & Media Manager at Staples, added: “Following a comprehensive review process, Havas Media emerged as the right partner to help us drive our business forward.
“We’re looking forward to working with the team as we continue to build the next stage of the Staples brand.”
Havas launched its first UK Village in Manchester at the end of 2015. It offers services including creativity, media, PR, data and technology.
