MediaCityUK “to double in size” by 2026 under £1bn plans

“MediaCityUK is an exciting challenge for me and I am looking forward to helping tell the stories of the people and companies that operate here,” she explained.

“Social media is increasingly the way to do that and it goes hand in hand with PR, so I’ll be working closely with the diverse community at MediaCityUK to deliver clear, integrated campaigns.”

She joins in the same week that plans were announced for phase two of MediaCityUK, which could see it double in size over the next 10 years.

“This is an excellent time for Niamh to be joining the MediaCityUK team as we continue to make key announcements about the future. With the Tomorrow building coming on stream in the summer and The Lightbox apartments on the horizon, there is a wealth of great stories to be told and Niamh’s appointment will help us to do just that,” added Paul Newman, director of communications at The Peel Group.
