Manchester agency Citypress has appointed a new director of social media.

Ruth Clifford joins from Golin London, where she was a digital director, leading social media programmes for brands including Toblerone, Unilever, Johnnie Walker and Great Western Railway.

With more than seven years’ experience, she will be responsible for expanding the agency’s specialist social media team, which includes designers, photographers, copywriters and analysts.
