Jaywing has hired Ben Marshall, formerly of global branding and design consultancy Landor, as deputy creative director.
Marshall, who has worked with brands including Sony, BP, M&S, PepsiCo and Nokia, will work with the Yorkshire agency’s flagship clients, which include first direct, Castrol and E.ON.
He had spent 16 years at Landor, working his way up from designer to creative director.
“We’re incredibly excited to have Ben join the team at a time when Jaywing’s creative ambition is really gaining momentum,” said Jaywing creative director, Gavin Shore.
“His expertise in strategic brand engagement across a huge variety of brands and sectors will help us tackle our clients’ ever more complex challenges, and create ever more elegant solutions.”
Marshall added: “Jaywing’s ability to demonstrate integrated and strategic thinking in their creativity is hugely appealing to me. In addition, the company’s unique proposition and experience in data science and technology offers exciting learning opportunities and the chance to deliver even more effective creative for clients.”
Marshall is a regular juror for the LIAs, D&AD and FAB awards, and has been recognised himself by LIA, Gramia, DBA, WPPED Cream, Graphis and Transform.
