Digital agency, Formisimo, has trebled the size of its office space at MediaCityUK, it’s also grown to 14 staff.
Twelve months ago, it announced that it was on the hunt for angel investors, aiming for a $100m valuation. Over the last two years, it’s raised almost half a million pounds through the North West Fund and various investors, including £30k through Venturefest and £85k from Creative England.
“We moved to MediaCityUK because of the amenities and transport links. We wanted our staff to get here easily, and we need good coffee and food! It’s a vibrant place to work, there’s always something exciting happening, and it’s all on our doorstep,” said co-founder Al Mackin.
Around 70% of the firm’s revenue comes from outside the UK, with clients including Arsenal and Lexus.
It works with companies to tell them why customers aren’t buying from them online or abandoning their shopping baskets.
