The Real Housewives of Cheshire has been recommissioned by ITV for a second series.
The reality show, which launched in January, was one of the launch commissions for the new ITVBe channel and has been its second most-watched show, peaking at 600,000 viewers.
Filming on series two will start again in June, with all six housewives – Ampika Pickston, Dawn Ward, Lauren Simon, Leanne Brown, Magali Gorré and Tanya Bardsley – signed up.
Upmarket parts of Cheshire such as Alderley Edge, Hale and Hale Barns all feature regularly in the show.
The Real Housewives of Cheshire is produced by Monkey’s executive producers Sean Murphy and David Granger and series producer, Mike Swindells. The series has been recommissioned by Amanda Stavri, commissioner for Entertainment, ITV2 & ITVBe.
