Freemans Grattan Holdings has hired Label PR on a retained basis to run national press offices for two of its brands, Curvissa and Swimwear365.

The Manchester agency will manage full service press offices for both brands, and will also co-ordinate seasonal press launches, all product placement, news generation, celebrity seeding, blogger outreach and event planning.

For Curvissa, Label will target women aged 35-55 in sizes 14-32 and execute key press and blogger events to increase product placement and blogger engagement. The agency will also co-ordinate the brand’s SS15 campaign shoot, look book production and delivery as well as Curvissa’s involvement with UK Plus Size Fashion Week.

For Swimwear365, the agency is to manage a major press event in Soma Bay, Egypt, in March 2015 – a project Label PR planned and delivered as part of its winning pitch. Label PR will also execute two high profile blogger events later in the year as well as producing the brand’s SS15 look book.

The accounts were won after separate competitive pitches.

Laura Sutherland, Curvissa brand manager, said: “Label PR’s pitch shone through with creative ideas and passion for our brand.” Helen Portas, Swimwear365’s PR manager, hailed the agency’s “engaging and knowledgeable approach to our brand’s PR strategy”.

Label PR founder and MD, Lee Bloor, added: “This is a great start to the New Year for the agency with a lot more still to come.”

Both brands will join a client roster that currently also includes Bosch, Transform, Lavish Alice, Rare London and Footasylum.
