The new website will launch in April and feature a new look and feel to help Chester Boat to offer visitors a more engaging online experience.
It will be optimised for mobile, tablet and desktop, allowing users to browse the site on the go and at their leisure.
A core focus of the brief for the Knutsford based integrated agency was to provide Chester Boat with a user-centric design with enriched functionality, enhancing visitors’ experience through the development of an easily navigable site and improved online services.
An image-led automated homepage gallery will be integrated into the site, showcasing the theme cruises available. The gallery will click through to the cruise of choice, providing users with a calendar to view availability of dates and a portal to buy tickets and gift vouchers.
A prominent ‘daily cruises’ timetable will also feature on the homepage, enabling visitors to instantly see departure times without navigating their way through the website to find the information they need.
Chester Boat is the sole operator of pleasure cruise boats on the peaceful River Dee. With three different boats in service, Lady Diana, Mark Twain and The Jackie, customers are offered a daily cruise service as well as themed cruises and private charter hire options.
The agency’s appointment marks continued growth for Bella Design and Marketing, which also unveiled a refreshed, image-led website for The Cheshire County Show late last year.
