Embattled supermarket Morrisons has launched its Christmas advert, starring Ant and Dec.
The ad features the TV presenting duo, families and Morrisons employees all singing It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas in a variety of festive scenes featuring the Bradford-based retailer’s products.
The ad was created by DLKW Lowe and directed by Jonathon Herman through Blink. MEC handled the media. It is backed by in-store, radio and press activity.
Nick Collard, the group marketing and customer director at Morrisons, said: “As our customers start to think about Christmas, they want to know it’s going to be magical and special for their families and we want to help make it special for them.
“We’re really proud of our in-store experts that help to make Morrisons distinct and we know that our customers appreciate the great value we offer them on fresh food and famous brands, especially as Christmas approaches.”
Morrisons recently launched a new loyalty card in an attempt to stem the tide of recent poor sales results.
