Monday Moves: Rule 5, Bruntwood, MTJ Associates and many more

Each week, Monday Moves collates all the recent job-related news on Prolific North, as well as running through all the new opportunities on our job board.

Significant investments in two North West companies will open up a number of new job opportunities over the coming months.

Publishing and events company GovToday picked up its third investment in 18 months and now plans to increase from 48 to 80 staff by the end of 2015.

And analytics start-up Formisimo plans to grow its MediaCityUK team after securing £350,000 from The North West Fund for Digital & Creative.

On the appointments front, Karen Swan, formerly of GB Group and Trinity Mirror Regionals, this week joined Paver Smith as its new director of marketing and insight.

On the jobs board this week, Rule 5 has an opportunity for an Account Manager at its MediaCityUK base. A minimum of four years’ experience is required as well as evidence of having delivered PR and social media for major sporting events.

Bruntwood has an opening for a “strong and creative” Marketing Executive who can ensure that all property marketing activities are on time and “aligned to the brand”.

Lancashire PR agency MTJ Associates is looking for an Account Executive to work on several “high profile” FMCG and B2B clients, and you’ll enjoy benefits including commission on new business wins and discretionary profit sharing.

A “leading health supplement provider” on the Derbyshire/Cheshire border has a vacancy for a Digital Marketing Manager. You’ll be “taking charge of all things digital”, and helping the company develop its new online presence.

There are a few designer jobs this week. One of the North’s “biggest and best advertising agencies” needs a Senior Creative Artworker with at least six years’ experience, while an “up and coming” agency is after a Creative Artworker who has a “high level” of technical artwork ability.

An agency that needs “very little selling” has an opportunity for a Digital Designer with a “solid base of UX/UI experience and front end development skills”, an “award-winning” digital agency needs a Mid-Weight Digital Designer and there’s also an Interactive Designer job going with an “established Manchester-based e-marketing agency”.

The North’s “largest advertising agency” is looking to hire a Middleweight Creative Team ready to create “award-winning conceptual ideas for online and offline briefs”. You and your partner will have worked together on similar agency work so a history of joint success is essential.

A couple of digital jobs to finish this week. An agency just outside of Manchester needs an “experienced” Front-End Developer who can handle HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XHTML, while one of the North West’s “leading lights” is on the hunt for a Digital Technology Director. You’ll lead on all aspects of digital technology, and you’ll be nothing less than a “superstar”.
