digi next aus FINALDigital Next has expanded it Australian team with the addition of consultant James Bishop to compliment current branch manager Nathan Elly’s efforts down under.

The appointment follows the acquisition of offices in Melbourne for the company which is based at Manchester’s Sharp Project.

Bishop, who was part of the original Digital Next team five years ago said it was “a privilege and an honour to be invited back into the fold” by CEO Justin Blackhurst.

“It’s pretty mind blowing to see how far the company has come over the last 12 months. I am relishing the opportunity to jointly spearhead the expansion of Digital Next Australia with Nathan and look forward to joining him at the new Melbourne office in the coming weeks.”

Blackhurst said it was an exciting time for the team.

“I have placed two of my most experienced colleagues over in Australia to harness the custom of businesses in Melbourne. The economy is fast growing with an average GDP growth of 3.4% over the past 30 years, and we have identified that Australian companies require a lot of assistance in the implementation of a more advanced integrated approach to digital marketing.

“I feel that we can bring our creativity, experience and professionalism to their market as a full service digital agency to offer an exceptional and innovative service that is currently unavailable in the Australian digital market.”

Prior to the launch of Digital Next Australia, the Australian market was assessed by the pair who have now launched an official new site which will replicated among multiple territories across the globe.

Further recruitment is planned over the coming months where Digital Next plan to create job opportunities and subsequent training in the latest digital technologies for Melbourne locals, with an aim to grow the team ‘significantly’ over the course of this year.
