NewsUK_2c_rgbNews UK, owner of The Times and The Sun, has today released more detail about the sales activities in the recently re-structured regional hubs in Manchester, Glasgow and Ireland.

In an interview with The Drum, regional sales director Liz Perkins said the commercial strategy needed to evolve as fast as the editorial one.

She said: “Now we have realigned and have this new structure we need to better understand how data segmentation can help us hone our targeting on behalf of clients. Our new insight team will work with the London hub to help make sense of the data to figure out new sales approaches.”

In Manchester, the team is headed by Nicole O’Shea who was appointed head of advertising sales in September after an internal restructure.
