International PR agency Citigate has established a Manchester base with the launch of a new regional office in Spinningfields.
The firm, full name Citigate Dewe Rogerson, said there were three reasons for the move to the city – to grow its client base in the North West, offer closer service to existing clients in the area and establish a base close to the BBC’s MediaCity headquarters in Salford.
Jonathan Flint, managing director of the corporate team, said: “With the BBC’s move to Manchester and the growth of business sectors in the area, it is an exciting place to be. We believe this new base will give businesses centred in the region the opportunity to tap into the resources and experience of a big international PR firm yet still get local face-to-face service.
“There are significant opportunities to grow our client base not just in Manchester itself, but in other growing business centres like Leeds and Liverpool as well as provide on the ground service to our existing clients in the area.”
Citigate is one of the largest and best known international public relations agencies in the world. Headquartered in London, it is part of international communications group Huntsworth plc and has an established network of wholly-owned or affiliate offices across the globe.
