Citypress has strengthened its consultancy team with the appointment of Tom Kirkham as senior account director.
He joins from London agency Blue Rubicon, where he spent more than three years advising clients including Shell, Aviva, Experian and Royal Mail as a senior consultant. Before that he spent six years at B2B technology PR firm Johnson King.
During his time at Blue Rubicon, he delivered a number of high profile campaigns including Aviva’s You Are The Big Picture brand campaign and Shell’s Smarter Cab Drivers project, the energy firm’s first proactive digital campaign in the UK market.
In his new role, Kirkham will be working across a number of key client programmes at Citypress, leading on planning, strategy and creative development, as well as joining the agency’s leadership team.

Kirkham joins former business journalists James Ferguson and Chris Hopper as new hires at Citypress, which employs over 50 staff across its offices in Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol and London.
