Manchester-based “challenger bank” Aldermore has appointed Equimedia to handle its digital marketing strategy, media planning and buying.

The agency, which was hired after a competitive pitch, has been tasked with recruiting new savings, mortgages and invoice finance accounts, as well as attracting SMEs looking for business savings accounts.

Aldermore was set up in 2009 and now has over 600 staff located in 11 offices around the country. Its in-house digital marketing function is based in Manchester.
