19-year-old Tom Green has been named as the new weekend breakfast show presenter for Capital FM Yorkshire.
He’s previously worked on the 97.4FM Rock FM breakfast show in Preston alongside presenters, Hywel and Jamie and hosted the late night, Sunday Night Chiller for 2 years.
While 19 may be considered young, he started out in radio much earlier, with stints at Real Radio, Q, Kerrang, Signal and Radio Wave, before arriving at Central Radio (also in Preston) and deputising as Drivetime presenter – at the age of 14.
In amongst all of this, he remains a student at the University of Leeds.
