UTV Media has appointed Adam Mills as sales director of talkSPORT.

It follows the departure of Adam Bullock in January this year, who left with programme director, Moz Dee, to form new media company, CONTENTed Digital Media.

Mills had been managing director of Admedia since 2009, but left the company in February. He was previously sales director at Carlton Screen Advertising.

He will report to new managing director of talkSPORT, Calum Macaulay.

TalkSPORT is owned by UTV Media plc, its largest division is UTV Media (GB) in Warrington. It recently signed a global commentary rights deal with the Premier League, to broadcast all of its matches live, outside of Europe, including China.
