It means that Rhodes will take responsibility for promoting Sea Life Manchester, which opens this Spring and the Legoland Discovery centre. Both attractions are based at the Trafford Centre.
“I am very much enjoying my new role, and working with such a talented and innovative new team. As the opening of Sea Life Manchester approaches, I am looking forward to seeing the culmination of many months hard work,” he said.
“This role is one in which all of my previous communications experience is of use and yet there is so much to learn about these fantastic brands too.”
Rhodes spent almost 8 years at McArthur Glen, during which time he put into place the marketing strategy and integrated marketing plan for Cheshire Oaks.
“Shaun joins us from a very strong destination marketing role and we are delighted to be able to benefit from his extensive experience in both Legoland Discovery Centre and Sea Life Manchester,” added Neil Crittenden, general manager at Sea Life Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester.
